A pulse meter can be made using an arduino and a sensor.

  1. Use the wiring diagram to wire your arduino to the LCD display and the sensor.
  2. Create a new program using your Arduino programming software.
  3. Copy and paste Nokia_LCD_pulse_meter
  4. cAdd new tab to your arduino program
  5. cName the file LCD_Functions.h
  6. Upload onto your Arduino board.

A typical bread board has this layout. The interconnections are shown here in red lines. However, these connections are hidden underneath the board. The top and bottom two red lines are horizontal and long. The red lines in the middle of the breadboard are vertical and short.
